Indigenous peoples’ connection to place is engrained in who we are. We know best what our communities need, we know how to live in balance with our Territories, and we maintain these rights and responsibilities in perpetuity. Supporting Indigenous-led work is an act of solidarity, and it helps to fulfill the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action, and uplifts the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
All of the organizations here in the Feast House are Indigenous-led, Indigenous partnerships, or Indigenous-informed according to the I4DM (Indigenous 4 Definitional Matrix) published by The Circle on Philanthropy.
